ELF CLAN

Established Nov 2004, Elf Clan is a premier fantasy
group of Second Life, a virtual community. Elf Clan
is homed at ElvenMyst island. It was the first
fantasy-themed group on SL to top 500 members.
Our charter contains three primary principles:

Elf Clan has migrated from SL to Inworldz (home
sim ElvenSong), where our builds and sims are
beyond anything we ever achieved on Second Life.
Due to abusive company policies, we have
dropped from eight sims to one on SL... and (as of
this writing) have twenty sims on Inworldz... where
our group is thriving and growing.

Elf Clan is a fantasy group, but does not insist that
its members be fantasy in appearance or activity.
We are very "new visitor friendly".

In addition to High Elven may be found our loyal
allies the Orks, Dragons, Dwagons, Pixies, Mer,
Drow, Tinies and yes, even Human, all living in
harmony.

Elf Clan was the recipient of three Metaverse
|
Awards in 2006: Noteable Group, Noteable
|
Privately Owned Sims and a third to master builder
|
Odil Lumiere for Noteable Build for her Library at
|
DarkWood. Elf Clan has been featured in several
online newspaper articles, its lands noted as
"unusually harmonious and peaceful".

Elf Clan is a very friendly group, void of the
|
eliteism and drama found in many elven and
medieval groups. All members were considered as
"equals". Elf Clan is a beneavolent monarchy in
|
operation (in keeping true to Elven Lore). A High
|
Council assists the Eldars in group operation.
|
|
We sponsor many interesting activities, including
|
archery tournaments (with self-scoring archery
ranges), BattleMace competitions (friendly head-
bashing with an auto-scoring arena), Drum Circle
Dances (the drum circle was created specifically for
Elf Clan by master builder Robbie Dingo), "Pirate
Parties" (complete with functioning ships and
weaponry, our thanks to VR blacksmith Zekeen
Pheonix and friends), Building contests, Costume
contests, as well as various classes and other
games and activities.

Elf Clan left Second Life for several months due to
disagreements with SL host company Linden Lab
(see The Rift). For the sake of our members, we
are pleased to announce the group is now back,
stronger than ever. Our primary home is now on
Inworldz, with one sim left on Second Life.
|
|
Elf Clan is supported by numerous Greeters, who
help keep our lands operating and relatively
trouble-free. Our deepest thanks to you all.
